Many people do not realize that when they are looking to purchase a Used Phase One or Mamiya Leaf Digital Back or System they may not know everything that they are missing by buying a factory refurbished Digital Back.

We have created this handy chart to make sure anyone in the market for a Medium Format system knows what they are getting in to when they buy Used instead of Refurbished. In fact sometimes buying refurbished is cheaper than buying Pre-Owned or Used.

When a Digital Back is purchased outside of being certified refurbished (even from other dealers) the manufacturer’s warranty does not stay with it but instead stays with the original owner.

All warranties shown on DT items are actual manufacturer warranties. If a product we acquire doesn’t have it, we purchase it from the manufacturer directly. This happens after inspection, and before we offer it for sale. It’s what we like to call “1st Party Insurance”.

3rd Party Warranties

We have been asked by our clients about offering “3rd party” warranties or “protection plans” for the equipment we sell. After doing the research, we have decided to continue with our policy of offering only manufacturers warranties to our clients. Common problems of the 3rd party programs were major delays in the repair process, inadequate repairs being made at unauthorized repair centers, and difficulty in making claims and getting reimbursed.  Although this may not be a significant issue with TV’s or bicycles, we feel it provides a false sense of insurance that doesn’t hold up for the type of equipment we sell. Our client relationships are too important to us.

Return Policy:

Please note that there are no returns on the following items: software, cables, cords, and batteries.

Any cancellation after item is shipped is subject to a 25% restocking fee.

DT ships accessory purchases to the U.S. only. If you would like to purchase another item and are not located in the United States, please contact us for shipping costs.

Orders received after 2pm will not be shipped or available for pick up until the following day. We will email you as soon as it has shipped or is available for pick up.
